This soft, smooth knit made from recycled nylon and spandex has everything you're looking for in a high-quality swim fabric: excellent recovery, UV protection, colourfast shades, and a firm stretch. Cool to the touch when dry with a low-sheen, almost matte finish, its saturated tones will make an amazing summer statement.

We recommend this nylon for (obviously) swimwear of all types - combined with swim elastic and our swim lining, you'll be all set for a beach vay- or stay-cay! Also appropriate for leggings and any other activewear application where you need high stretch and great recovery.

Care Instructions

Wash

Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them.

Long-Term Care

Wash in cool water on the delicate cycle, and line dry. Do not tumble dry or bleach.

Fabric Tips

Avoid ironing if possible. While you can use a little well-placed steam if you are finding your seams behaving badly, a finger press will go just as far in most cases. Use a low iron when pressing.

We ship globally! Non Canadian and US orders and orders under 150$ are calculated by weight.

Orders outside of Canada are subject to customs and duties and are the sole responsibility of the customer. Orders to the US under 800$ are duty-free.

Beautiful, easy to sew swimsuit fabrics!

I'm still sewing up my very first swimsuit, the Closet Core Sophie using Core Fabrics and the Closet Core online class. It is much easier sewing than I anticipated, partly because of the stability and nice weight of the fabrics. Thanks!
