This delightful lightweight cotton blend chambray is a standout in eco-responsible fashion! Crafted from recycled cotton yarns in beautiful red and white, it features no added dyes and minimal water usage in its production, showcasing its commitment to sustainability. A touch of polyester adds durability, while the soft texture and medium drape ensure it's a pleasure to wear. Ideal for button-ups, dresses, skirts, and relaxed trousers, this chambray fabric perfectly marries eco responsibility with classic style. Fully opaque, it requires no lining.
Based in Brazil, this certified B Corp supplier has developed a recycling process to produce these beautiful textiles using leftovers from garment production and recycled clothing. Scraps are first sorted by colour before being broken down into spinable fibre. Separating colours beforehand makes it possible to create a rainbow of yarns without bleaching or adding dye.

Wash
Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them.
Long-Term Care
It’s important to wash and dry cotton to remove any potential shrinkage down the road. Machine wash in warm water and tumble dry on medium or hot. More delicate cottons like voile, double gauze or embroidered cottons should be washed by hand or on the delicate cycle.
Fabric Tips
Use a hot iron when pressing.

A beautiful fabric, whipped up a summer sleeveless dress but found it frayed a bit but my serger solved that and a dream to sew.
