With its mesmerizing geometric pattern and a play of bold contrasts, this Op Art geo print is sure to turn heads. We have sourced it from our favourite French heritage mill, and it is woven from Oeko-Tex STeP-certified viscose, which will biodegrade at the end of its wearable life. This lightweight fabric has a fluid drape and features a sueded dobby/dot motif, creating a dynamic visual and tactile experience. It is perfect for light and unstructured garments such as dresses, skirts, and blouses or any project where the interplay of graphic shapes is key. The fabric is nearly fully opaque, so it does not require a lining.

Care Instructions

Wash

Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them.

Long-Term Care

Wash in cool water on the delicate cycle, and line dry or tumble dry on low. Finished garments should be hand washed with cool water to ensure minimal shrinkage.

Fabric Tips

Use an extra sharp pair of shears or rotary cutter and pattern weights to cut your fabric. Use a medium iron when pressing.

Shipping is free on U.S. and Canadian orders over $150. U.S. and Canadian orders ship in 3-7 business days, and international orders take between 12-40 days. We are committed to investing in sustainability initiatives to counteract the environmental impact of shipping. We offset our carbon footprint by contributing funds to forest conservation projects for every package shipped.

We leave a 36 hour buffer before shipping to allow for cancelled orders. Once your order is cut, it is final. For more questions on shipping and returns, consult our Shipping & Returns FAQ.

One of the Best

If I had a wish it would be that I could live in the Core Fabric establishment. I am always pleased with my online purchases, and the customer service is so good. I find the related business Closet Core patterns to be so well drafted. I now use Closet Core patterns to teach sewing skills to my students. I encourage my students to shop Core Fabrics for fabric and notions as well.
