Wash
Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them.
Long-Term Care
Bamboo should be hand washed with cool water, or machine washed on the delicate cycle using gentle laundry detergent. Tumble dry on low heat. Do not use chlorine bleach as it will yellow the fibers.
Fabric Tips
When pressing bamboo use a cool iron. Bamboo tends to be a bit shifty so use an extra sharp pair of shears or rotary cutter and pattern weights to cut your fabric.

This is the second time I have bought the bamboo jersey. It makes great bralettes and panties with the Celine and Anais patterns. It's easy to sew and so comfortable to wear.
I wanted a bright tee for high visibility when cycling along roads and on shady rail trails. This color is bright! Fabric is soft and sews up easily - not a lot of curling at the edges like some jerseys. Although it initially felt very drapey, once I had the tee made up it had enough body to skim the body without being clingy. I haven't yet had the chance to wear it to test its moisture-wicking quality.
I made two Pony tanks from Chalk and Notch from this lovely knit. The weight and drape were a perfect match
This was so fun to work with. Made a simple top with puff sleeves and very happy with the results. I would not says it’s fully opaque, but still loved it.
Lovely, soft, and opaque, even in white. I have made this up into three T shirts. Hems grew about 1.5 inches after wearing, typical of bamboo jersey, however the collars and lines of the sleeves are holding nicely without drooping. Slinky and light-medium body, great for projects that need fluid drape and good recovery.
