Care Instructions

Wash

Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them.

Long-Term Care

It’s important to wash and dry cotton to remove any potential shrinkage down the road. Machine wash in warm water and tumble dry on medium or hot. More delicate cottons like voile, double gauze or embroidered cottons should be washed by hand or on the delicate cycle.

Fabric Tips

Use a hot iron when pressing.

Gorgeous

I love this one of a kind fabric. It's cut and ready to be sewn into a shirt. Crisp and nice quality cotton with a very unique print (biased as geologists)

Beautiful Italian Deadstock

Sometimes the laptop colour doesn't capture the true tone/shade of a fabric sample, and I am so thrilled that the fabric is richer, moodier and so much more luxurious in real life - so much so, that I am now using it as the main look for a fall capsule wardrobe! Beautiful design and rich, beautiful autumn colours for me, I can't tell you how perfect this fabric is to sew and wear. Thank You Core Fabrics!
