Cheery and summery, this viscose print is a classic in the making; the abstract, handpainted motif is graphic, soft, and so very fun. Printed on a slightly crepe-y base with a repeating dobby texture, its lovely slubby texture and slight sheen add a little je ne sais quoi to whatever you're making. Made in our favourite French heritage mill and Oeko-Tex STeP certified, its flowy drape and breezy weight lend it to unstructured applications like blouses and loose-fitting pants, but between you and us it's absolutely calling out to be transformed into the sundress to end all sundresses. Just saying. Nearly fully opaque, it should not require a lining.

Care Instructions

Wash

Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them.

Long-Term Care

Wash in cool water on the delicate cycle, and line dry or tumble dry on low. Finished garments should be hand washed with cool water to ensure minimal shrinkage.

Fabric Tips

Use an extra sharp pair of shears or rotary cutter and pattern weights to cut your fabric. Use a medium iron when pressing.
