Care Instructions

Wash

Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them.

Long-Term Care

Wash in cool water on the delicate cycle, and line dry or tumble dry on low. Finished garments should be hand washed with cool water to ensure minimal shrinkage.

Fabric Tips

Use a medium iron with a pressing cloth. We recommend starting your project with a brand new ballpoint or stretch needle.

We ship globally! Non Canadian and US orders and orders under 150$ are calculated by weight.

Orders outside of Canada are subject to customs and duties and are the sole responsibility of the customer. Orders to the US under 800$ are duty-free.

Wonderful to sew with and to wear! I like the descriptive label included and how nicely packaged. It is great for patterns that need a bit of stretch rather than a more stable knit. I made tanks in the summer and plan to make long sleeve Ebony T-shirt for this fall in 5 colors.

Cotton-Tencel Stretch Knit

I love this fabric so much. I got it in five colors and they’re all beautiful and so soft. Right now I’m working on making pants and a top with the purple. Being that it’s summer I’ve got a lot of stuff to do outside that keep getting in the way of my sewing but I’ll get back to my sewing and can’t wait.

Beautiful fabric

First let me start by saying the fabrics I ordered came to me beautifully packaged and each with a tag pinned on giving out the fabric details and care instructions.
I just made up a T-shirt from the Organic Cotton/Tencel knit fabric. It was wonderful to work with and sew up. So soft with a nice drape it is a pleasure to wear. I washed the fabric before sewing up without issue
