Midweight linen viscose yarn-dyed twill in mint with walnut + white thin stripe; soft hand, medium drape, slight stretch, opaque suiting fabric.

This Canadian designer deadstock is a midweight linen-viscose twill featuring a thin yarn-dyed walnut and white stripe on a mint ground. With 67% linen for breathable, gently crisp structure and 31% viscose for added softness and smoother hand, it offers a balanced feel, supportive yet comfortable. A touch of elastane provides slight stretch, making it ideal for tailored suiting. The twill weave gives subtle structure and shape retention, while the medium drape allows clean, fluid lines. Fully opaque with no lining required, it’s perfect for trousers, vests, blazers, structured skirts, and tailored button-ups.

Care Instructions

Wash

Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them.

Long-Term Care

Linen can withstand high heat when washing and drying. Choose warm or hot water when machine washing (choose a cooler temperature for colours). Tumble dry on hot, and remove when slightly damp to help eliminate wrinkles.

Fabric Tips

Press your fabric before cutting out your pattern pieces. Use a hot iron when pressing.
