We're deeply excited to unveil this one-of-a-kind viscose-linen blend! With a slightly rustic, soft hand and an extraordinary drape, this delight of a fabric combines the best qualities of viscose and linen. How so? It drapes like viscose and it's breathable and durable like linen. Easy to care for and with a unique slubby texture, it's a gorgeous choice for your next project. We see this midweight blend as a fantastic Fiona dress, a pair of paperbag waist shorts, a dramatic maxi dress, a pair of flowy culottes, or even a shirtdress. Fully opaque, it does not require a lining.
Be it stitching, coating, zippers, or dye, the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification assesses every material to make sure it"s free of harmful chemicals, dyes and finishes. With Oeko-Tex certified textiles, you can rest easy knowing your health and comfort is never at risk.

Wash
Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them.
Long-Term Care
Wash in cool water on the delicate cycle, and line dry or tumble dry on low. Finished garments should be hand washed with cool water to ensure minimal shrinkage.
Fabric Tips
Use an extra sharp pair of shears or rotary cutter and pattern weights to cut your fabric. Use a medium iron when pressing.

I have had this fabric in my fantasy shopping cart for months.
I have used this line of Viscose Linen several times and always delight when I find another pattern that calls for it's luscious weighty drape.
These will make a lovely pair of wide legged pants.
Textured Viscose Linen - Moss
The drape of this fabric is beautiful, and it has a sort of glow. Forest Green is a particularly soulful colorway. For some magical reason, Textured Viscose Linen feels cool to the touch, even in warm weather. Because it is so fluid, I always cut on the full flat, never on the fold. I also hand-baste everything before I sew because of the active drape.
I have used this for several Hinterland dresses with great success. When I made a three-tiered Priya dress, the fluid hand insured that the many gathers would fall gracefully. Each Neha top I have made with Textured Viscose Linen has had structure and grace. All the colors are lovely.
I got the cream viscose linen fabric to sew a dress and toddlers’ shirt. The fabric schrunk about 2-3” after washing which is not alot. It’s a super soft fabric and looks pretty! Would buy again!
This fabric does not disappoint! It’s a soft drapery linen perfect for my project which requires a floaty fabric. Saturated colour and lovely hand. Can’t wait to get started.
