Sandwashed viscose twill deadstock in Valentine Red. Soft, fluid, and fully opaque—perfect for blouses, dresses, and flowing trousers.

This sandwashed viscose twill deadstock comes from an iconic high-end designer based in Montreal and features a beautifully rich Valentine Red, a shade we’re completely in love with. The fabric has a soft, lived-in feel thanks to its sandwashed finish, giving it an effortlessly elegant look and hand. Woven in a subtle twill and made from viscose with a touch of polyester, this fabric strikes a lovely balance between fluidity and substance. It’s midweight with a fluid drape and fully opaque, making it both versatile and comfortable to wear while remaining easy to work with. An excellent choice for blouses, dresses, and fluid trousers, this elevated deadstock fabric brings colour, movement, and quiet luxury to any garment.

Care Instructions

Wash

Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them.

Long-Term Care

Wash in cool water on the delicate cycle, and line dry or tumble dry on low. Finished garments should be hand washed with cool water to ensure minimal shrinkage.

Fabric Tips

Use an extra sharp pair of shears or rotary cutter and pattern weights to cut your fabric. Use a medium iron when pressing.
