Care Instructions

Wash

Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them.

Long-Term Care

Wash in cool water on the delicate cycle, and line dry or tumble dry on low. Finished garments should be hand washed with cool water to ensure minimal shrinkage.

Fabric Tips

Use an extra sharp pair of shears or rotary cutter and pattern weights to cut your fabric. Use a medium iron when pressing.

We ship globally! Non Canadian and US orders and orders under 150$ are calculated by weight.

Orders outside of Canada are subject to customs and duties and are the sole responsibility of the customer. Orders to the US under 800$ are duty-free.

Love it!

This is my third time purchasing this gorgeous fabric. I don't think it would ever have been on my radar if it hadn't been recommended for the Closet Core Crew Jade pants. Now that I've used it, and love it, I look for other opportunities to use it! So far it's been wonderful for Palazzo pants, skirt, and now a shirt with drappy bell sleeves. It's a treat to wear, nice weight that only adds to its drappy goodness, and the linen texture is chef's kiss 💋. I've used Sage for the last two projects, and Natural (which I am very pleased to see is back in stock) I am eyeing up the Burnt Umber next!

The hand of this fabric is absolutely wonderful.
I made a long sleeved shirt for my man and embroidered a large parrot on it. Embroidery went easily in its weave.
